Apple and berry crumble is comfort food at it's finest, we don't eat a huge amount of desserts as a family as I prefer fruit based and my partner prefers chocolate but this is one that we can all agree on - especially with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! You can use any type of apple for this recipe, if you are using a sweeter eating apple, just reduce the amount of sugar that you add to the fruit.

I'm the only one in this house who actually eats bananas. There are certain foods that transport you straight back to childhood the moment you eat them. This chocolate cake is one of those.
